Expert opinion on a national transplant registry published

BMG publishes expert opinion of the BQS Institute.

The "Expert Opinion on a National Transplantation Registry" prepared by the BQS Institute on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Health was published by the BMG on October 23, 2014 and is now available at www.bmg.bund.de for all interested parties.

Based on extensive information research and expert interviews, the expert opinion presents the existing and possible future data paths and explains the goals and tasks, processes, organizational forms and the necessary data protection in a future national transplant registry. A timetable outlines the stages in which such a registry could be established so that it can deliver initial benefits as quickly as possible.
